stories, and I can help you tell yours.
Stories are everywhere, and in everything. Promotional videos, corporate events, convention
presentations, infomercials, 30-second advertisements, weddings, short films,
hour long documentaries, prime time dramas, half-hour sit-coms, 5-minute webisodes, multi-part feature film epics – these are
all stories! I have done most of them,
I want to do more of them, and I love doing all of them. I want to help you tell your story, and I
want you to rest assured that I have the training, the skills, and the expertise
to do just that. I
am Greg Wyatt, the Pseudogenius. I don't pretend to be a genius,
but I'm the next best thing. |

October 15th, 2006 I finally figured out how to advertise what
I do, and you can read that above. It still
comes across as a bit much, but then I suppose I do a bit much. I have to admit, it does look a little overwhelming
– but how else am I going to express to potential clients all I can do? And how do I express that this list is more
than just “can do”? This is
“What I Do” on an almost daily basis, and a lot more that would just
look silly up there. I have a lot of
additional, non-production skills that help me either get a better grip on
your concept, or allow me to find a new angle on it. For instance, my extended qualifications include:
·
Teaching computer
classes to all knowledge levels on all subjects ·
Fully certified
computer maintenance technician ·
Uncertified
but experienced video equipment technician ·
Experienced on
camera host and reporter ·
Electrical ·
Research ·
Acting ·
Singing ·
Playing a mean
harmonica ·
Cooking like a
gourmet chef I’d like to think that my computer
background allows me to understand highly technical or scientific project
quickly, and allows me to work more closely with the client to tell their
story more effectively. On the other hand, my artistic background
helps me connect with creative clients and abstract project and help that story
successfully. Looking at it another way, I am able to
relate to both the technical and artistic, make a connection with the project,
and find new and inventive ways to tell the story so as it make the technical
understandable, the artistic approachable, the bland appealing, and the
abstract tangible. Oh, but wait, there’s more! I’d never include them in my
professional resume, but I’ve also been dabbling in model making, latex
mask molding, set design & construction, puppetry, and web design. These skills, though underdeveloped, also
help me when working with experts in those specific fields. In other words, if you need a set built, I’ll
know the carpenter is doing a good job. That’s all for now. Thank you for reading, and I hope to work
with you soon. -Greg
